What accompanies hot flash?

Most of the menopausal women in America and some other people under certain medical conditions are affected by hot flash. Hot flash is the hot feeling in the upper body particularly on the neck and face. Hot flash may be accompanied by dizziness, headache, heart palpitations, and sweating. When the attack is over, there is a feeling of chilliness. Hot flash is caused by hormonal fluctuations that take place during menopause. Through some mechanism, the blood vessels get enlarged and more blood flows. This causes the flushed face and feeling of excess heat.
